Friends – Does Difference in Wealth Hurt or Help

 - by Invite

FriendsDuring our school days, most of us are not concerned about the families our Friends come from. One of our classmates may be from the richest family of the world, but that would not make much difference in our friendship. This thought process changes as we grow. We become conscious of our social standing and compare that to our Friends as we grow. Some Friendships do not survive because of a wide difference in the wealth of the families, where as some Friendships thrive irrespective of all these factors. They are like fairy tale friendships.

Should we look around and make Friends with people similar to us in wealth and other social parameters?

Can a gardener’s son make friend with the son /daughter of the owner of the mansion? Is that good? Will that friendship survive? Lets take a deeper look at this. Friendship depends on the personal equation between two people. It is an emotional bond that does not depend upon money or other such external factors. On the positive side, if you are a poor person and if your best friend is a very rich person, that psychology of money can help you become rich yourself.

If money and social status were to decide Friendships then all rich people would be very good friends of each other and friendships would similarly thrive amongst the poor class and the middle-income class.

Fortunately this is not so. As I said earlier friendship is an emotional bond and wealth or social status does not count if the attachment is strong. One important condition needs to be fulfilled in such relationship.

Both the friends have to ignore these factors and carry on.

If the conscious feelings of differences surface and are not handled, the friendship will die. Even otherwise, very strong friendships will face a lot of pressure from the families. If the bond is strong, nothing will make a difference. If the bond is weak, nothing else counts in a friendship. That friendship will die on its own.

Saying Goodbye to Stress

Anxiety disorders are often a product of stress. From GAD (generalized anxiety disorder) to panic disorder, you can cut back on the anxiety in your life simply by reducing stress. Stress is normal in daily life no matter who you are, but if you let your Stress take control of your life, serious problems will arise. Fortunately, ongoing Stress is easy to overcome, but it is important to know the steps to doing so.

Stress is an internal reaction triggers by external factors, like pressure.

One of the best ways to overcome these reactions is with plenty of exercise. Daily exercise can help you learn to physically deal with stress by improving your tolerance to stress during exercise. During a panic attack, most people feel short of breath and a pounding heart. A hard workout gives you these same experiences, but in a healthy way. AS you exercise more and more, you push your body to accept these conditions without panicking.

Getting a good night’s sleep is also very important to reducing stress. Stress can physically wear out a person’s body, and without sleep, you will feel the effects of stress much more readily. This can lead to anxiety disorders very easily. To get enough sleep, make sure that you schedule at least 8 hours for sleeping. Don’t eat or drink lots of sugar or caffeine products before bedtime and try to do relaxing activities in the few hours before bedtime. If necessary, see your doctor for help with sleeping problems.

Another key to reducing stress is to schedule time for non-work related activities.

Stress
Take vacations or at least days off in order to have fun. Work is a major cause of stress, and with that stress comes worry about money, health, and many other things. By setting aside specific time to enjoy yourself with loved ones or on your own, you can physically and mentally set aside the stress for at least a few hours. Try to have at least an hour to yourself every day and an entire long weekend every few months to purely enjoy fun activities.

Lastly, work to reduce stress by learning to think a bit differently about life.

Some of the most stressed-out people are perfectionists. While this can be a good trait, it can also go too far. Know when to let something go. Also, think positively about your life. When you worry that you aren’t good enough or are upset about little things, they really add up to hurt you. Managing your thought process is just part of the battle, but if you work at reducing stress, you can avoid developing anxiety problems.

Yoga Poses And What They Achieve

 - by Invite

Yoga has been described as a science which seeks to achieve the harmonious and balanced development of the body, mind and soul. It is a system which allows us to bring culture, balance and happiness to ourselves. It works via a need for strong mental discipline and the ancient theories, which it is based on regarding the interconnection between the mind and body, are now being regularly supported by modern scientific theory. Yoga consists of a number of different exercises or poses.

Examples of these poses are the cat and cow poses. Both are connected and begin with you on all fours on the floor. Arching the back upwards like a cornered cat places you in the cat pose and the reverse, lowering the back puts you into the cow pose.

Another common form of exercise is a forward bend that will help in the stretching of the lower back and hamstring muscles. There are a number of other advantages to forward bends: They release tension in the back neck and shoulder as well as increasing the flexibility of the spine. Forward bends can be uncomfortable if you have any injuries in the next or back area, but regularly performing will help assists in the recovery of these injuries and even strengthen the area for the future.

The counterpart of a forward bend is a back bend. These open up the chest, hips and rib cage area. As well as strengthening the arms, they also provide increased strength and flexibility to the shoulders. This type of exercise is fantastic at increasing the stability of the spine, but is also useful for relieving built up tension along the front of the body and the hips. The relationship between back and forward bends is a perfect example of the importance of the bodies balance in Yoga.

Hatha Yoga Poses were developed in India during the fifteenth century. They are designed as an aid to relaxation and healing and usually introduced with a concept of “the contemplation of one reality”. The result of using these exercises properly and in conjunction with suitable breathing exercises and meditation is an increase in vitality, physical health and a stronger mental health. Hatha Yoga exercises have become a part of numerous different Yoga disciplines over the years and it’s quite common to see exercises such as the half moon posture, the bow posture of the salutation posture even if it is not Hatha Yoga you are practising. This is because the principles of Yoga and the movements and balances required are fairly consistent from one discipline to another.

Another simple Yoga exercise is doing the twist. Twists will strengthen and stretch your back or abdominal muscles and help to increase the flexibility of your spine. They also aid in increasing your bodies circulation that brings oxygen supplies to your cells. This fresh blood and oxygen supply that is released as you twist will improve the functioning of your bodies internal organs.

A yoga session will often begin with a standing pose. These are a very good low impact, low stress starting point for a Yoga session. Standing poses benefit the legs and hips and help provide a sense of centring, balance and of course strength to the legs themselves. The end of a Yoga session is usually marked by a group of poses known as Relation and Restorative Poses. This group of exercises is designed to give the positive energies and forces released by the Yoga session to move throughout your body and benefit you completely.

Spiritual Sunday- The Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction
The Law of Attraction was developed by members of the New Age Movement who were exploring the potential of the human mind over the body’s future. The Law of Attraction states that “you get what you think about; your thoughts determine your destiny”.

Can you really make your life into anything that you want it to be just by thinking about it happening with the law of attraction?

While science has not found a definite link between repetition of a thought, its connection with the subconscious and the role that it plays in a human’s success, that has not stopped people from wondering. There are hundreds of programs out there intended to influence the subconscious and the way that the conscious mind reacts.

The potential for success is greatly influenced by perceptions and will often make a decision based upon its intuition and feelings regarding a certain matter rather than the established surrounding facts. This means that a person who is timid can program a confidence into their subconscious through the use of these methods, thereby allowing them to portray this confidence to the outside world. The people around them will respond in kind, believing their potential for success to be great based upon the attitude that they project.

How does this affect The Law of Attraction of the human race?

Take a moment to consider which individual is the most likely to gain your attention and interest, the one who sits quietly in the corner and does not seem to have much to say or the one that carries a confident demeanor and is willing to approach you and strike up a conversation? The simple fact of the matter is that confidence wins. People are attracted to people who appear to be comfortable with their lives and their place in it. Confidence will lead to attraction; attraction leads to not sitting home on a Saturday night!

Is it true that you can influence your destiny through the power of The Law of Attraction?

Yes, that does not necessarily mean that the cosmos are going to align in order to make your every wish come true; however, with the power of positive thought you can change the way that you approach a situation and give yourself an exponentially greater chance to succeed.
